(participants will bring their own lunch/snacks)

Week 1: July 6 - 9
Week 2: July 13 - 16
Week 3: July 20 - 23
Week 4: July 27 - 28 (Mon/Tues only)

PERFORMANCES ARE JULY 29 - 31 at 7 pm, and AUGUST 1 at 2 pm

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCES

During this summer workshop, students will concentrate on performance-related skills such a diction, voice-projection, singing, stage movement, choreography, and characterization. They will learn about technical and practical aspects of presenting plays as they work towards staging a production.

REGISTRATION REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED FIRST. Tuition total is $575, which a non-refundable deposit of $75 that is due at time of registration. The balance will be due on the first day of the workshop

JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, JR., Music by Pasek and Paul

Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach JR. is a brand new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.
