Calliope's productions are the result of an ensemble effort to bring affordable, high-quality theater to central Massachusetts. Our audiences get to know some of the "faces of Calliope" because of the number of roles they fill.

Kathy Ludt (1953-2003) was a co-counder and co-artistic director of Calliope. She was the primary director of our shows and of the youth-theatre workshops.

Dave Ludt is a co-founder and co-artistic director of Calliope. He builds sets, designs lighting, performs, directs, teaches and does everything else.
